Birdhouses can bring SO much joy into a garden, as I've experienced in my own backyard.  Watching little feathered friends create a home in your space is kind of magical... they become part of your family for a time.  It's so nice to watch them go in and out, take the time and effort to create a safe space, and make their little house a home!  This piece highlights some local species; Red-breasted Nuthatch, Black-capped Chickadees, Purple Finch and Prothonotary Warblers. I thought this theme would be a perfect addition to my collection, and I really enjoyed painting them!
